The survey covered more than 200 large olive trees in the Park. The research involved the cadastral identification of each tree and its GPS coordinates in WGS-84, altitude, setting and monumental features (age, size, shape and habit, ecological value, historical and cultural value, landscape value).
The dimensions examined were the diameter at 1.30 m and the height.
As well as adding to the knowledge database of the area, this detailed survey of most of the Park’s great olive trees is aimed at their effective protection.
